The Hard Rock brand has been licensed around the world to 250 restaurants and hotels in 74 countries.
Today Hard Rock International owns and operates 14 casinos in the U.S., Canada and the Dominican Republic. The Seminole Tribe of Florida acquired the Hard Rock brand in March 2007. That deal will finalize in the first half of 2022. Then in May 2021 the San Manuel Indians from California purchased the Palms Casino Resort. In March 2021 the Mohegan Tribe opened the Mohegan Casino at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas. Hard Rock Las Vegas will be the third tribal-operated casino in Las Vegas. Hard Rock is owned by the Seminole Tribe of Florida. The grand opening will be in late 2025 or early 2026. Hard Rock will operate The Mirage through 2023 and then shut it down in 2024 to rebrand, expand, renovate, and build a guitar-shaped hotel tower along the Las Vegas Strip. Hard Rock International bought The Mirage for $1.08 billion.
The property will be renamed and rebranded as the 'Hard Rock Las Vegas'. 13, 2021 Hard Rock International announced the purchase of The Mirage Las Vegas Hotel and Casino.
